Dr. Smith Blanc
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Dr. Smith Blanc obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Business at the University of South Florida in 2005. He then pursued his professional dreams at Nova Southeastern University in the College of Optometry. During his educational experience he obtained numerous accolades, such as being inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Fraternity, making the Dean's list every semester, graduating with Honors, inducted into the Golden Key Society, and graduating in the top twenty percent of his class.
Furthermore, Dr. Blanc is highly active in the community. He participates in numerous health fairs, screenings and medical mission trips abroad. Dr. Blanc also served as president and vice president of the NSU's Chapter of National Optometric Student Association. Dr. Blanc went on to complete a residency specializing in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Nova Southeastern University college of Optometry in the year of 2010.
Dr. Blanc also holds a board seat in the Broward County Optometric Association, serving as President, and remains an active member with the Florida Optometric Association. He received an award for “Best Young Optometrist in Florida” in 2015. Dr. Blanc practices in South Florida.
