Helping Eyes Against the Loss of Sight (HEALS) is a nonprofit, dedicated to helping individuals in developing countries combat preventable blindness and other critical eye conditions by providing routine eye and surgical care.  The three directional focus of HEALS are: 

 

1.     To promote the importance of primary eye care

2.     To provide eye disease treatment to underserved populations

3.     To initiate collaborative projects that minimizes and eliminates preventable eye disease in third world countries

 

The dedicated members of HEALS have taken on the personal mission of sight-saving expeditions, throughout the world from Africa to the Caribbean, helping those without access to primary eye healthcare.  

 

HEALS' vision is to bring eye care to underserved regions.
